Bellows commonly used material introduction

We using a wide range of materials for our bellow products, like metal bellow, metal hose ,expansion joint,exhaust flexible pipes,ect. Those products using for different application. The selection and use of various metals on those different application .its physical properties and the other properties like its resistance to corrosion and cyclic fatigue.

Below is MTC of 304ss ,316L , and 321ss
321 Chemical composition: Carbon: 0.08 Silicon: 1.00 Manganese: 2.00 Phosphorus: 0.045 Sulfur: 0.030 Nickel: 9.00-12.00 Chromium: 17.00-19.00 Titanium: 5C-0.70

Most common materials are 304 grade stainless steel , 316L grade stainless steel,321 grade stainless steel for our metal bellows. Regular using are 304 grade, if request on resistance to corrosion we will using 316L grade instead of 304 grade stainless steel, if higher working temperature of application we will using 321 grade stainless steel to make our bellows.

In some special application condition,Even 321 grade stainless steel or 316L stainless not able to work well, since need super high working temperature and meanwhile asked for resistance to corrosion as well . we will consider using alloy material. Like INCONEL625 ,MONEL400 and etc.
