This flanged exhaust bellows assembly is designed for demanding industrial and automotive exhaust system conditions. As a source factory of stainless steel flexible connection products, we use standard AISI 304 stainless steel raw material and strictly control material composition and batch stability, to ensure the product keeps structural stability under long-term thermal cycling. The product is made by hydraulic bellows forming, braid weaving, and end flange welding. It can effectively absorb system vibration and compensate thermal movement, reduce stress transfer, and extend the service life of the whole exhaust system.
Compared with welded or clamp connection types, the flanged connection does not require on-site welding and is easier to install. It also provides more stable sealing performance under high temperature and high pressure conditions. It is suitable for OEM applications and high-load working conditions, and helps reduce later maintenance cost. We also supply matching sealing gaskets and related components for system integration use.

It depends on your maintenance frequency and sealing requirements. Welded type is a permanent connection with lowest cost, but requires cutting during replacement. Clamp type relies on compression sealing, suitable for light repair or modification, but may have slight leakage under high pressure. Flanged type (this product) is commonly used in OEM systems. It uses bolt fastening with gasket to achieve high-level sealing and easy assembly/disassembly. For positions like turbo outlet or manifold joints with high pressure, high vibration, and regular maintenance needs, flanged type is the better choice to ensure long-term leak-free performance and reduce downtime cost.
Under extreme conditions, a single connection method is often not enough. Our technical support focuses on optimizing the whole assembly structure. First, we suggest suitable bellows layers (double or triple) based on your application data to improve fatigue strength. Second, for flange connection, we recommend proper torque standards during bolt tightening, together with our matching reinforced metal gaskets. With this “thick flange + multi-layer bellows” structure, the assembly can keep stable connection under medium-low frequency large vibration and sudden thermal expansion, preventing flange deformation and system leakage.
