Screw-Locking HD Clamp
Screw-locking HD clamps are aluminum pipe connection assemblies designed for turbocharger, intercooler, intake, and charge piping systems. They are suitable for connection points that require stable sealing, reliable locking, and removable maintenance. A complete assembly normally consists of two weld ferrules, an aluminum clamp housing, a central sealing sleeve, two sealing rings, and locking screws.
Yueding supplies screw-locking HD clamps in common sizes from 2 to 5 inches for bulk orders. The standard clamp housing and weld ferrules are made of anodized aluminum alloy. Stainless steel ferrules and customized housing colors, including black, red, blue, and purple, are also available. Sealing ring options include standard black or red NBR rings and green FKM rings. The screw-locking structure helps distribute clamping force evenly around the connection, providing stable fastening for piping systems exposed to vibration, pressure fluctuations, and limited pipe movement. Under specified assembly and test conditions, the complete HD clamp assembly can achieve a burst pressure rating of up to 800 psi and withstand temperatures up to 400°F (approximately 204°C). Actual performance depends on the sealing ring material, ferrule configuration, pipe condition, installation quality, and operating environment.
