Our exhaust sleeve connector is generally used to connect two pipes of the same size. Based on the flanging direction at the clamp bolt, it can be categorized into inward flanging and outward flanging types.The two metal bands of the exhaust clamp typically have elasticity and can undergo an arc deformation when tightened by the bolt (the conventional bolt grade is 8.8, but higher grades can be provided if required by the customer). This deformation reduces the internal diameter of the clamp, applying pressure to the exhaust pipe to ensure a tight connection. This pressure is sufficient to prevent gas leakagefrom the pipe joint.

Inward Flanged Exhaust Sleeve Connector: This type features an inward-flanged design at the clamp bolt area, creating an inward-facing rim. During installation, the inward flange ensures that the edge of the clamp closely adheres to the outer surface of the pipe. This design improves the sealing effect by better wrapping around the pipe, thus reducing the risk of leakage.
Outward Flanged Exhaust Sleeve Connector: This type features an outward-flanged design at the clamp bolt area, creating an outward-facing rim. During installation, the outward flange ensures that the edge of the clamp is positioned away from the outer surface of the pipe. While this design offers easier installation and removal, the sealing effect may not be as tight as that of the inward flanged version.
