Both methods may be possible, depending on the end style and the repair condition. A straight-end flex pipe is often used for welding, while a flex pipe with nipples or extended necks may give more space for welding or clamp connection.

For orders that need clamps or couplers, we suggest confirming the end diameter and available clamping length before production. This helps avoid a situation where the flex pipe is correct, but the connection part does not match well.

Not always. The outer mesh mainly protects and supports the flexible section. If the mesh is worn or loose but the inner bellows is still sealed, the pipe may not leak immediately.

However, if there is exhaust noise, black soot near the joint, visible cracking, exhaust smell, or abnormal vibration, the flex pipe should be checked more carefully. For replacement supply, it is safer to confirm both the outer mesh condition and the inner bellows condition before deciding the structure.

Lead time may vary depending on size, mesh sleeve type, interlock liner requirement, order quantity, and material availability. For regular stock specifications, if the size list and product structure are confirmed clearly before quotation, shipment can usually be arranged within two weeks. Even if stock is not available, the lead time can generally be controlled within one month.
