Stainless Steel U-Bolt Exhaust Clamp
YDCT U-bolt exhaust clamps are mechanical fastening components designed to secure exhaust pipes, mufflers, and related pipe sections without welding. The standard assembly consists of a U-bolt, two nuts, and a formed saddle, with an optional gasket available according to the connection requirement. Carbon steel and SS304 stainless steel versions can be selected to suit different corrosion resistance, installation, and replacement needs.
Different bolt and saddle configurations are available for regional markets and pipe applications. M8 and 5/16-inch versions normally use a 7 mm diameter U-bolt with a 2 mm thick saddle. The 3/8-16 version, commonly used for the North American market, is supplied with a 2.75 mm thick saddle, while the M10 version uses a 2.5 mm thick saddle. Standard quotations are based on the M8 configuration unless otherwise specified. You can provide the pipe outside diameter, bolt specification, material, saddle thickness, gasket requirement, and order quantity so that we can confirm the suitable clamp configuration.

Compact Structure
The U-bolt clamp uses relatively little axial space, making it suitable for exhaust pipes, mufflers, and connections located close to pipe bends or other compact areas. Depending on the pipe outside diameter, the clamp can provide an approximate adjustment range of 1–2 mm to help you achieve a more suitable fit during installation. Standard flat washers or spring washers can also be selected according to the fastening requirement.
Material and Finish Options
Carbon steel versions are suitable for regular repair, replacement, and general operating conditions, while SS304 stainless steel provides improved corrosion resistance for damp or more corrosive environments. For agricultural machinery, outdoor equipment, or other applications requiring greater surface protection, a thicker zinc coating can also be specified. This allows you to select a configuration that better balances cost, operating conditions, and expected service life.
